Expect Wonderful, by Alia Mira
Thursday Thoughts. On feeling supported by Life. Hi Lovely, This week I felt inspired to focus on my home-life... to nest, cook, talk with and spend time with friends and spend a lot of time outdoors. My body is happy. My mind is peaceful and relaxed. I feel deep belonging and connection. Time well spent. And thus, this week's thoughts, coming to you, on Thursday. (Smile). Feeling free to do what feels right to me is natural for me. Why? Because inner harmony is my aim, my value, how I make decisions. It's well established in my mindset that this is the priority and so it's natural and easy for me to live this way. Today is Thanksgiving in the United States and I've been thinking about support. I live feeling that Life supports me in every possible way. I choose that, I practice thinking that, and it's become real for me. I find, I'm bolder because of it and that life is better because I can ask for what I want, confident I will be supported. Yes, sometimes I feel uncertainty, hesitant to do new things, and even self-doubt at times when new visions come to me. But this practiced idea that I am fully supported and in every way is so ingrained that it pops up in my mind in these moments, reminding me of what I believe. That belief reorients me, and as a result, I am able to express myself with more and more authenticity, and explore the world more fully. What if you installed this idea yourself: Life supports me in every possible way. How do you do that - make it part of your mindset? You invest energy in that thought: you think it. Repeatedly. You might use colorful post-it signs with this phrase, placed where you'll see them often. You might make your screen saver on your phone, or computer, a picture with this text. There are many ways to be sure you remember a thought and think it more often - what works best for you? Knowing how to make new thoughts familiar and taking the time to create positive self-talk and inner dialogue does more than make us feel good in the moment. It reminds us of who we truly are: CREATORS. And it changes our mindset. As we "install" more accurate and empowering self-talk, the thoughts we repeatedly think grow in emphasis in our mindset and have more influence on our life. They pop up on their own and shape what we perceive and experience. The become our attitude and eventually, our beliefs. Who do you want to be and what beliefs would make that feel easy, natural, supported, possible? Take the time to build a mindset that serves you. Feeling whole and capable is awesome. You're a powerful creator. Be who you truly are, and soar. Love, Ailia
