Re-posted from The Creator Writings by Jennifer Farley We certainly don't want to stew in our moody, stuck, negative-leaning state as this can be a slippery slope - it can lead to progressive negativities for as like attracts like one negative thought can invite its friends to join in the pitty party & down we go... There are many other ways to look at changing our focus. That is to say, there is a lot we can do... It is like simply changing the radio station... different music changes the mood entirely. It seems to me that ANY of the arts are fabulous ways to wonderfully effect ones heart. All the arts are heart centred activities that can add a whole new energy. Add some colour to your life, dance, bake a cake, or take a walk in nature. Doing anything that puts you into a focused mindful state puts you in the same type of state as meditation- you are in your heart space instead of your ego.
